TUESDAY 13 FEBRUARY: FACCIAMO 4 “CHIACCHIERE” INSIEME! (Let’s have a chat together. / Let’s make ‘chiacchiere’ together.)

Did you know that ‘chiacchiera’ doesn’t only mean ‘conversation’ but is the name given to a regional carnival sweet? Would you like to taste it with us? … while we speak Italian together, of course!
We were thinking of spending martedì grasso (Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday/Pancake Tuesday) together in activities involving delicious sweets and language. You are warmly invited to spend an afternoon cooking and eating carnival food.
At 4:30 p.m., we will meet at the Hotel Augusta at Ponte San Giovanni for a hands-on cooking workshop to deep-fry strufoli and frappe.
The workshop will be followed by a delicious aperitivo offered by Lingua Libera Tutti to signal the beginning of a new year marked by the Italian language and good food!
It will also be an opportunity to renew your membership in our association for 2018, to receive the newest membership card and for us to present the LLT programme of future events and activities.
